Your Questions, Answered

Is exercise good for menopause weight gain?

Yes. The right exercise is one of the best things you can do. As oestrogen drops, many women lose muscle and gain weight around the middle. Building muscle through strength training raises your metabolism, helps manage that midsection change, and supports your mood and energy. It works far better than punishing cardio or another crash diet.

Is strength training safe over 40?

Yes, and it's one of the most important things you can do for your body in midlife. Lifting weights protects your bones against the drop in bone density that comes with menopause, keeps you strong for everyday life, and is done under coaching at a level that's right for you. We start everyone where they are, with technique first.

Can I start if I haven't trained in years?

Absolutely. Most of our women walk in having not trained in years, or ever. You're not behind and you're not too late. Our small groups mean you're coached, not lost in a crowd, and we build you up from your very first session.

Do I need to be fit first?

No. You don't need to get fit before you come. That's what we're here for. There's no minimum fitness level, no judgement and no expectation. You turn up as you are and we take it from there, together.
